The 2022 Medicare Final Rule went into effect on January 1, 2022, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) significantly increased reimbursement for Chronic Care Management (“CCM”, CPT 99490/G0511). The 2022 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule was officially published on November 2, 2021, and will go into effect on January 1, 2022. The Final Rule bodes well for the many providers that are currently providing Chronic Care Management (“CCM”) services.
